2012 Results are in!

For the first time in 8 years, we have a repeat winner at the Cornhole Tournament for Autism.  Congratulations to Nate Parsons and Ryan Poling for their victory this year (they also won in 2009).  We would like to thank everyone for such a great event this year.  Not only was it the most successful to date, it was the best weather by far, and it was by far the most fun for Betsy and I as we delegated a lot of the responsibilities we have had in past years.

We had 58 teams, our most ever (compared to 56 last year) and we raised  $3,182 at the tournament (compared to $2,381 last year) plus additional money that was donated online.  There are several other who have contacted us and plan to donate. 

We would first like to thank the following people:

• Brenda Buchwalter and Greg Palmer for donating Cane's chicken
• Eric Kohl / Dewey's for donating 15 pizzas and a keg of Scrimshaw (and allowing us to purchase another keg)
• Brian Byrne / Byrne's Pub for donating 2 kegs of Labatt Light
• Bobbi Weber / Roosters for donating A LOT of food.
• Andrew Feast for DJing and MCing the event late into the night
• Mark Jones and Adam Heibel for taking the most stressful part of the tournament off of my plate and managing the registration / brackets
• There are too many people to name that we have borrowed items from in preparation for the tournament (believe me - I have been returning them for 3 days)........but you know who you are - and we appreciate it.
