2013 Results!

The 9th Annual Cornhole for Autism was the largest ever!  We ended up having 71 teams this year!  We raised $4,037 at the tournament plus an additional $325 online, making the total $4,362 (compared to $3,182 last year).

When the dust settled, the tournament was won by John Weber (1st time winner) and Ryan Poling (3rd time winner).

I'd like to thank everyone again for all the help and support we received over the weekend.  We couldn't have made the tournament a success without all of your contributions.  I'd like to thank everyone who donated food, drink, their time and assistance, raffle items, tents, ice, and the tons of other items to make this year a huge success. And a special thanks to Andy Love and his family for attending and singing the national anthem.  It was awesome!

I promise I will get tables, chairs, kegs, cornhole boards and bags, and everything else we borrowed back to their rightful owners by the end of the week.  It took me and the kids 20 minutes to take out the trash and recycling this evening.

Time Change for 2013 Cornhole Tournament! 2:00pm

We are moving the start time of the tournament from 3:00pm to 2:00pm.  This will allow those of you playing in the Bobcat Booster golf outing to come participate before the golf outing.  You can even be picked directly in front of my house by the bus to take you to the golf outing!

The date for the 9th Annual Cornhole Tournament for Autism has been set!  It is set for Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 3:00pm.  PLEASE SAVE THE DATE!

As always, the tournament will take place at our house at 1495 Wyandotte Rd in Grandview Heights, OH.  Last year we had 58 teams and we would like to increase the number of teams and the funds raised.

Feel free to RSVP (see the link to the right) or donate to the team at anytime.  Money for the tournament will be collected in person the day of the tournament.

As always, we are looking for any volunteers who want to help out the day of the tournament.  Additionally, we always have a raffle to help raise money.  If you or anyone you know has items you would like to donate for the raffle, please reach out to me at derrickslong@gmail.com.
